Volunteers are the foundation of any community organization and HFC United is no exception. Individuals who are willing and able to volunteer their time and talents are vital to building a stronger Soccer Club and Community.
HFC United is looking for individuals who may be interested in learning about additional volunteering opportunities in 2018. These opportunities may include serving on various committees involving marketing, fundraising, field maintenance, recruitment, and more.
Open Coordinator Positions:
Tournament Coordinator - This would include leading a team of HFC United volunteers to plan for and run potential HFC sponsored soccer tournaments. Duties may include working with the City of Hastings and other parties to secure proper licenses and potential vendors for participation. They would also work with the Volunteer Coordinator to organize coverage during event(s).
Uniform Coordinator - Helping log new players, assign numbers and enroll into our vendor system for purchase.
Travel Equipment Coordinator - Checking in and out team bags, coordinate with Director of Travel and Director of Coaching when new equipment is needed, order and make sure ice packs are available at Vets for teams.
Rec Equipment Coordinator - Checking in and out team bags, coordinate with Director of Rec and Director of Coaching when new equipment is needed.

Over the past two years, the current HFC United Board of Directors has overseen several changes, including, but not limited too:
HFC United High School Scholarships, Expanded Winter Training, New Training Equipment, Field Marshals, Improved REC training, New Referee Training and Assigning System, New Uniforms, Revised Registration Policy with New Payment Options and Revised Player Evaluation Policy.

HFC United Soccer is a non profit organization that is committed to providing a quality soccer program in Hastings and the surrounding community. Our focus is to develop each member, whether they are a player, coach, referee, manager, or parent to their fullest potential at all levels of participation.
We are looking for people who want to give back to the HFC United soccer organization. We have some key roles that could help get our club to the next level with your time and talents. These are volunteer positions, but do count for the family volunteer hour requirements. Please help us better serve our soccer families. Look at the elected positions above, or the committee areas listed below, and see what best fits you.
There are committees looking for members. They include the tournament planning, fundraising, field preparation and marketing committees.

Bylaws last revised 9/20/2016. The second bullet in Article 6 and the first bullet in Article 7 were revised to reflect the change in voting procedures. Voting may now occur prior to the annual meeting versus at the meeting.

As a volunteer organization, HFC United relies on our volunteers to make our club successful. We need your help to strengthen our club and assist us in offering the best opportunities for our youth.
